Cement removal?

Today I was contacted by a road construction company owner who needs me to remove cement from several vehicles. He said they were working on a bridge with a wet saw, and got a cement slurry on cars below.

I haven't seen the vehicles yet. I will see one tomorrow morning.

Any ideas how to remove this cement if there is any caked on? The owner of the one vehicle told me he washed most of it off immediately, but still on tonneau cover fabric. Any ideas how to easily scrub it out of fabric or plastic trim?

There is a product called Back-Set that I've read to be used to remove cement/concrete from paint on vehicles.

put white vinegar on a paper towel and lightly press it on the concrete for like 30 seconds. then rinse with water.

I removed some concrete off a vehicle like this and it worked great

Today I met with one of the vehicle owners. 06 tacoma. He wanted the cement off asap, so although I could not fit him in for a full detail today I washed the cement off. Luckily it was just from a wet saw cutting through the concrete that got on the vehicle. There was some dried on the roof and spots all over vinyl tonneau cover deep down in the faux leather looking texture.

A basic wash took care of what was on roof.
But to get it out of the grooves in tonneau it needed aggressively scrubbed with a diy mixture of cement dissolver. Detailing by m informed me of the secret diy ingredients - water and sugar.

I mixed 4 lbs of sugar in a bucket with water to make a paste, let it sit on cover for a minute, scrubbed, rinsed. Looked brand new again, no trace of concrete.

Vinegar would do the trick. Just put a small amount of vinegar on a piece of cloth then rob it to the affected area. Rinse and repeat.

What was the amount of water used? Can't believe sugar worked! He's job.
