    First headlight restoation

I just finished my first headlight restoration (2001 Hyundai Sante Fe).
I used the Diamondite headlight restoration kit.
There was some severe scratching on these headlights along with some internal hazing.
I was not expecting to get paid for this job, but dad was so happy with the results that he paid me enough to pay for the kit. (First paid job!)

I will be doing a full detail on this car soon.

Those headlights were really bad! Good job for a first try. You mgiht want to try going back over them again. It looks like there is a lot of correctable haze left in the middle of each headlight still.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will do that when I can get the truck back here. I am not sure if the kit can get rid of the haze or not because the lenses are scratched like someone tried to sand them with 400 grit paper.

The results you see above are from 3 cycles of enhancer (yellow pad), 2 cycles of restorer (orange pad) and 2 wipe downs with protector.

I will definitely give it another cycle if you think if will help.

You may also want to try some Meguiar's PlastX to polish them after you're done as well. That usually shines them up really nicely. Other than that nice job!
