So this is my first time using a DA polisher and I wished I could have purchased one sooner. I had my car painted 2 years ago and have always been annoyed with the way it turned out. I really can't complain because I was only charged $100. The car was only sprayed, never wet sanded and buffed. The paint is full of bugs, dirt nibs and orange peel. I lived in an apartment so I had to park outside and bucket wash it at car wash with only a few supplies the paint got pretty bad off. I wet sanded a lot of the bugs, dirt, and orange peel but honestly the whole car needs wet sanded and im not about to take that on by hand. The car is far from perfect but it looks 100x better than when I started. Once I finish detailing the rest of the car and if it will ever quit raining ill take much better pictures.
Two things I learned is to have more pads and plush microfiber towels on hand. With it being a small car I thought I could get away with two cutting pads and two polishing pads. It would have been much easier and less time consuming if I had at least 4-5 of each. I had a lot of the regular microfiber towles but they kept putting scratches back into my paint when I would wipe the product off. So I kept having to reworking the areas.
