    Product Review: BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal

    PRODUCT REVIEW: BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal

    Introduction:
In the LSP world, there is a never-ending supply of products that are designed to protect the underlying surface. Products offered range from pure show car waxes with little protection offered such as Pinnacle Souveran to the other end of the spectrum with protection and durability at the top of the list offering the latest ceramic coating technology such as BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat Paint Coating.

BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal is an extremely concentrated paint sealant in liquid form that is misted onto the material by a pump-actuated sprayer. As soon as BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal touches the paint it begins to form a barrier.

    Product Description:
BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal is a paint sealant coating that offers incredible protection and longevity for all paint finishes, plastics, glass, and metals. Just drops of this clear liquid produces a tough barrier over auto surfaces that resists contamination, moisture, and UV rays. Hyper-concentrated BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal packs the power of cross-linking Wet Diamond polymers in every drop.

BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal is in its own class of paint protection. Its protective properties are like a sealant but better. As soon as Crystal Seal touches the paint, it begins cross-linking to armor your vehicle. This micro-thin coating locks out the elements to keep auto surfaces looking like new. The coating is crystal clear, allowing the true beauty of paintwork, metal, glass, and plastics to show through.

BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal is a paint sealant in its truest form. No cleaners. No fillers. No wax. It is purely engineered to provide unbeatable surface protection.

    Product Details:
Packaging: Black Chrome bottle w/pump sprayer
    Directions: Easy to follow

    Features:
Advanced polymer film outlasts other spray sealants.
Protects paint, glass, metals, and hard plastics from dirt, oil, UV rays, and moisture.
    Dries crystal clear and streak-free.
    Requires no buffing.
    Extremely concentrated!

    Directions:
Use very little BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal. Always use a clean, soft applicator to spread Crystal Seal over your vehicle.
Mist the applicator once to prime it. Then mist each panel once and spread Crystal Seal evenly in straight-line motions.
Do not buff or wipe off Crystal Seal.
Use this same method to apply Crystal Seal to paint, glass, metals, and hard plastics.

    PROS:
    Easy application
    No streaking
    Little goes a long way

    CONS:
    None

    Conclusion:
If you are on the fence about getting started with a true paint coating such as BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat Paint Coating, but the thought of high spots not leveling after application, cloudiness, or anything else that may have you holding off but would like to get a feel for the way a coating applies you may want to start here. BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal applies just as coatings do with a coating applicator and waiting a few moments before leveling with a mf.

Re: Product Review: BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal

Nice write up. I've been using it for about 3 years. I will disagree about streaking...it always streaks for me. It could be because I use 2 coats as I don't see the streaking as much after 1 coat. I use one spritz per panel and use a crosshatch pattern with a MF applicator. A rinseless wash does take care of the streaking, but can be problematic if you have to return the car to a customer right after application as you don't want to wash it for 24 hours.

I've gone away from using it on top of BFWD on black and darker painted cars. I prefer the naked BFWD depth on these colors. I still use BFCS on white and lighter painted cars and the results are blinding in the sun and the glassy gloss looks great on lighter cars.
