I honestly couldn't really tell if it made the paint color look deeper. I performed a paint correction on this car recently so it was already looking great. Maybe someone else with a dark car can comment.

It will slightly in the same way a good glaze and wax will.

Nice review!
I prefer spraying Express on a MF towel and wiping it over the surface. Then with another towel remove it. You only need a thin layer of coverage. Applying more will only lead to removal issues.
