    Sonax Wheel Cleaner

I had a bottle shipped from the geek after seeing all of the photos/reviews of the stuff. Typically, I am a soap and water guy with a few brushes or two applications. My Z06 is God awful with the hard to reach stuff on the wheels.

I decided to test the product on my mom's subaru. She took over my yaris so the subi hasn't been used much. Very VERY dirty wheels...so sonax was put to the test.

LOL, it does look like a crime scene when the color turns on the wheels. I still used a scrub brush here and there as it didn't fully clean one wheel that I tried with the "Spray and walk away" method. Again, I always scrub the wheels regardless which cleaner I use.

I was pretty impressed with it's cutting power. Apparently there was a lot of garbage on these wheels as they turned burgundy rather quickly.

Is it worth, what? $15 a bottle? meh I don't know. I don't think it did any better than what I could have done with a beat up wash mit and gold class or zaino soap. Pretty neat experiment though.

Its quite cool initially (the yellow to blood red color change) but best part its quite safe on all wheel finishes.

    That was neat!

I think the only wheel cleaner I've ever seen literally spray and walk away, then my wheels were spotless was 3m stuff. Can't think of the P.N. but the girl at the car wash said it was cut and not to use it straight. I've never seen jet black wheels turn to silver without scrubbing in my life.

What makes any of these expensive wheel cleaners better then ZEP Citrus Cleaner and Degreaser Concentrate?
