    A 12 AWG cord is a good investment. It will power anything you can attached to 15A / 20A outlet up to 50 ft. You will not need to ask the question again if the extension cord is big enough.

    Excellent point.

    The only reason I don't use mine is the cord isn't very flexible.
    I had to use it for my compressor to the 20 amp outlets for blowing out microfiber discs.

    Those new green Flexzilla cords look tempting.
