Pads: Meguiars oder Lake country, washing?
Hi folks,
I´ve ordered for my new Rotex 125 8 pads from LC. One yellow, two orange, three white and two grey/black ones. Was it the right decision?
I´ve heard so much about the meguiars pads 6009, 7009, 8009 are much more better than the LCs. Others with other opinions, the LC pads are better and so on.
What do you think about the pads?
The megs pads are much more expensive than the LCs in germany .
How do you wash/clean your used pads?
Can I put it in the washing machine?
Thanks for your comments.

Hi!
I have thus far washed mine very gently in the washer with a hint of woolite - no fabric softner, nothing harsh, by themselves. So far, they look like new!
Now I did order the Pinnacle Pad Cleaner, and decided I did not need it, but forum members told me it was awesome so I kept it. I haven't used it yet as I am awaiting more product to continue the job, but I will try the pad cleaner out on the lc pads then.
I have a brand new 2007 vette and I really think a gentle wash in a good washer does a fine job - but then we also have new fancy Maytag's - not sure if that plays into it at all - probably to a degree so it is not too rough. Some older washers thrash laundry.
Just one newbie's opinion . . . I am sure you will get lots more!!
Take care and I hope this was of some help to you!!

Im pretty much abandoning both. Im heading toward the edge 2k system. Just plain better pads.

Got the megs pads, 7006, 8006 and 9006 and think the works just great, often a reason why somethings costs a little extra (works for both DA and rotary), but as ryandamartini, im getting the edge pads too sooner or later
I machine wash mine like Lauren do. use 30c and lightwash
I have not tryed the LC pads, but as they are sold at AG, its probably no bad buy.

Thanks for your comments, I think it was a good buy. The differnce between LC und Megs Pads are in USA much more little than in germany. In germany the difference is about 13 Dollar and thats much.
But ok, you said, it´s no problem to wash the pads in the machine with 30 degrees and so. Ok, I´ll try it. First of all I cant wait to order my Rotex 125.
