I bought one from Radio Shack years ago and use it all the time. With old cars and street rods develop over heating problem you can check the inlet and outlet radiator hoses temperature, radiator temperatures difference from side to side. You can also check temp gauge accuracy which turns out to be the problem a lot of time. They do work and I couldn’t live without mine.
