Cool too wax ,or not

i have owned may motorcycles and never put wax on them, only polish,
i wash bike nce a month or when i get caught in the rain.
i qd it after and before every ride.

why wax???

Depends on what kind of polish you are using. If your polish has a sealant or nuba in it, you'll be fine. If it's a pure polish, you run the risk of damanging the clear or paint from the elements especially uv rays.

The sun, dirt, bird crap, leaves, water, minerals, etc.

A polish, in detailing terms, is something that either cleans the paint or removes swirls leaving no protection behind.

However, if you are using Zaino, then they misuse the word polish, as several manufacturers do.

I wax my motorcycle frequently especially the front fairing that get's hit with bugs and the tank. A waxed motorcycle is much easier to clean after a long ride.
