Question about LC HD Orbital Pads

Hey guys, does anyone know how thick these pads measure? What about the LC Thin Pros? TIA.

Axdording to LC they are 1" thick but there seems to be a backing foam and then the cut/polishing foam. See here:
Lake Country Manufacturing - Wool And Foam Buffing & Polishing Products

Seems kind of thick and wondering about smoothness on a long stroke machine?

Unfortunately I could not find any specs on theormsite for the LC Thin Pros.

PS there is a noce video here Lake Country Manufacturing - Wool And Foam Buffing & Polishing Products that shows the LC HD orbits.

Cool, thx for the reply. From my 1st experience using the Boss Innerflex Pad I noticed the machine ran alot smoother with it on.. So the fact that those LC Orbitals are thicker than the Boss Foam Pads has me wanting to buy them now.. IMO the Boss pads seem too thin for their own good and I think I'd prefer a bit more cushion with my pads. I'm still experimenting though...

The Boss pads measure 3/4" and with the Innerflex it measures 1.25"

Re: Question about LC HD Orbital Pads

The LC HD Orbital Pads run pretty smooth on a Rupes 21. They are closed cell foam type, imho lacks a bit of cut, but when I need an extra cut I rely on the blue and green Rupes pads.
The LC HD is like a thin pad with an integrated cushion in it, but I prefer it for polishing and finishing stages.

The LC HD pads are the same height as the Rupes pads.

Ahh they're closed cell foam? Main thing I don't like about closed cell is they're not as easy to clean.

Re: Question about LC HD Orbital Pads

They Open Cell and don't provide heavy cutting but are really good at polishing and run very cool and smooth.

I have a dozen of blue and orange and both finish well, have used it on both my Rupes and 3401 for mild paint correction.

Re: Question about LC HD Orbital Pads

Ok cool, thx for the info. I can get these LC pads, and some Boss Microfiber pads for heavy cutting situations. Now to decide whether to get 6" or 7" inch pads or both..
