How many pads would I need

I have a mid size pick up truck and I am wondering how many pads I would need to do the truck without having to clean any pads on the fly?
Using the new Wolfgang Uber AIO
    I was thinking 6 pads - 5.5"

2 - 1 per each side of the bed
    1 for the hood
    2 - 1 per each door section - king/ext cab.
    1 for both front fenders.
I have a couple of smaller pads for the pillars.
    Thanks

conquistador, is in the right direction, though ill add more pads the better that way each pad can get it's fair share of correction while not begin over saturated/early backing plate failure

With an AIO you are removing a lot less paint than when compounding. I would suggest 3 pads for AIO.

If you were compounding and polishing:

    6 at most for compounding

    3 for polishing

On struck like that you can use all 5 1/2" pads

    Great, Thanks.
I will probably order a couple extra just in case.

I placed an order last night and I figured between my truck and the wife's car. I just went a head and ordered a total of 12.

Re: How many pads would I need

Ok, this may go against the grain of commonly accepted procedure here but...

I always tape off trim, black pieces, badges etc. when i am "machining". Without fail and every time i am using a cut product. When using AIO's i do not tape off those pieces and run right over them with my machine to brighten them up and most of the time with my white LC pads. I inevitably get 2 white pads "blackened" by rubber or black trim pieces and retire them for cleaning after. With that said, i sacrifice those 2 white pads and adding them to the total count of pads used with AIO's... 6 total, 4 used for paint and 2 used for dirty duty.

I do like how AIO's clean up and brighten trim pieces.

My point is, and contributing to the op's question, i wouldn't use any less than say 5-6 pads for an AIO session.

Never heard of anyone using an AIO or any thing else on their trim?
