    Whats pads do i use?

    im getting a PC 7424
    WG swirl remover 3.0
    WG finishing glaze 3.0
    WG DGPS 3.0

what colour pads should i use for each product?

i have just a few minor scratches from cleaning. roughly 10 minor scratches on the hood. finger does not catch. should i just put a bit of WG swirl remover on a foam pad and remove by hand? or is the WG swirl remover to aggressive for this job?

Re: Whats pads do i use?

I've used the following pads with the listed products:

WG SR - LC Hydro Cyan (cut)
WG FG - LC Hydro Tangerine (polish)
WG DGPS - LC Hydro Crimson (finish)

As for the hood, always do a test section with least aggresive pad. I'd use a polishing pad with the WG Finishing Glaze. If your fingernail doesn't grab the scratch, polishing should remove it. Hope this helps...

So the FG can also remove swirls?

And whats the differences between the LC CCS and LC Hydro pads?

Finishing Glaze is actually a fine polish. In the case of surface scratch as you noted then yes, but if it's deeper I doubt it. Personally I've never used CCS pads. Found this for you...

What pads do you have now?

It really gets crazy because there are so many pads to choose from. I've heard from others CCS last longer than Hydros. Honestly, everyone has their opinion and it makes it tough to make a decision. I'm no pro, just an enthusiast with OCD lol. I have quite a variety of pads now ranging from LC CSS, Hybrids, & Hydros. I only use the CCS pads for applying wax.

I use a Flex 3401 and I have a new Rupes mini. What's great about AGO is there's a wealth of info here, it's a matter of filtering out what you need.

My suggestion would be get a couple of each if you can. In the end, you'll know what works best for you and your skill set.
    Hope this helps

u might get good/better results with orange, white, blue in order of the product list in your first post. Also wht pad with SR is fairly powerful depending on how bad ur damage is.

I would also recommend that you use a 5" backing plate and 5 1/2" pads.

Just remember to start with least agressive first. You can also use white with WG FG. Definitely recommend using 5.5" pads...
