No. Very bad idea. Clean them by hand or with a pad washer.

In washer with just detergent, yes. Done it numerous times, however they don't seem to get as clean as by hand.

    Re: Cleaning foam pads

I now have XMT pad cleaner and it works great. Before that I used APC in the sink and it also worked great. Either way is ok. Once in a while I throw a bunch of them in the washer with an MF cleaner and it works well. Hope this helps. Do not mix pads and towels.

    Re: Cleaning foam pads

using a pad cleaner is best, I just bought some, but b4 that Ijust used dawn or Ivory and hot water. You could use some GP (aka APC) 409 would work pretty good I think. but I got mine very clean just by Ivory and hot water.work your fingers all over pad pushing from middle to edges. rinse untill all soap is out and place with fluf side for velcro up. I have used my wifes baking cooling rack so air gets uner them also (yea she was ok with it,,, I just had to bleach the rack for her LOLOL)

I just use APC, spray it on them and massage in with my hands, rinse, repeat. Dirty pads take 2 or 3 rinses, but works well for me.
