I have only used Lake Country pads on my PC7424XP for over a year now and theyare great to use. I have a time getting them separated from my plate. No regrets using these pads.

The 6.5" that came with the bundle are a bear to switch out. I replaced them with 5.5" Buff and Shine. Much, much better. I also have a set of 4" HT's. So far so good, no issues to speak off. Meg's MF pads are next on the list.

My new LC backing plate is on the UPS truck to be delivered today. Can't wait to try it with the LC HT pads.

Re: Thumbs Down on LC HT Pads

Amazing! The hooks feel and look just like my Meg but, unlike my Meg, it grabs the HT pads like glue, just like many have posted. Pretty sure I can now operate at 5 without losing the pad. I was surprised at how stiff it is. The LC ad says it is soft to conform to body contours. It is definitely softer than my Meg, but not as soft as I thought it would be. I am glad because I know that more cushion in the backing means less power delivered to the pad. In any event, a major step forward and well worth the money. Thanks for your help.
