I'm hoping that's the case!
I've been able to get few paints to finish down very well with the OPT finish pads but I honestly haven't spent much time trying to dial them in yet.
Looking forward to seeing you at the class BTW, should be a great time!

I'd never touch a foam pad again if I could get MF to finish down as well as foam. Sept 22..?..can't wait to see what that is all about.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

I think you need to have both MF and foam on hand in order to be versatile. IMO some paints don't like MF pads, like aftermarket or repaired panels, so I like to have a nice mix of foam and MF pads on hand.

Re: microfiber vs foam pads?
We'll soon see if MF has the "finishing" touches to KO foam pads.
My guess is no, simply because there is too big of a market involved.
They will coexist just like DA and rotary polishers......at least for the foreseeable future.
There is vast amounts of knowledge at your fingertips, use Google, Youtube, and the search button.

It was your post concerning 105 vs. OHC that led me to not only investigate OMF pads, but to fully incorporate them into my processes. Thanks. I haven't used a foam pad other than test spots for some time now (few months).

I like MF pads better. I do have to thank Mike, i finally got the the LC MF pads ( Mike's review ). Amazing pads, much better than Meguiar's in my opinion and i tested on a black car.

I love MF pads for cutting and foam for finishing.
