Milano Red is a single stage paint, has been for a very long time. Another color Honda has that is single stage is Taffeta White but that is the only other color I can recall from Honda/Acura.

It sounds like you have a tinted clear coat. This means that mixed in with the clear is a slight tint. It's not a problem. But it can tell you what products have cut and what products don't.
i had the same thing when i polished my dads gmc acadia 2009
the car is red and the orange and green pads turned slightly red can barley be seen
its obviously tinted clear becus new cars does not have single stage
or at least not that i know

10 4...get some opti coat 2.0 on a single stage paint, try and reduce the UV too by using a garage too.
