Buff and ShineFlat Foam Pads 6 Pack
Under the B&S foam pads the 5.5' 6 pack has a white pad that is Buff and Shine White Foam Polishing Pad - 5.5 Inch, but the 6" 6pack has this listed as the white pad Buff and Shine White Foam Ultra Finishing Pad - 6 Inch

And they have the orange and yellow pads in reversed order between the 5.5" and 6" . I have been looking at the B & S pads too myself. I'm confused a bit.

Yeah, I don't know why they do that... the 5.5" is a dense foam pad, like the white Lake Country. The 6" white pad is an ultra soft, super finishing pad, like the gold Lake Country if I'm not mistaken.
I love the green, blue, and red foams they offer, but their foam grading system can be confusing. The black pads are supposed to be soft, 80ppi foam. They should be less aggressive than the 70ppi blue pads - the lower the pores per inch count the more aggressive the pad - but it isn't. The black pad is both stiffer and has larger pores than the blue....
If you're looking for 6" white polishing pads, you might need to pick up the Lake Country.

The white 5.5" foam finishes better than any other color in that line, IMO

Yup. You can pretty much get by with just buying the orange and white pads in B&S 5.5 line.
I'd just get half white, half orange and go from there.
