I'd like to try them out as well. I've used the Meg's ones in the past when they first came out and although they worked well, they didn't last too long before separating from the backing. Would love to have some that hold up.

I'm def excited cause I use a rotary and have been told that a MF doesn't have enough cut compared to wool but then I've also read otherwise. If I can get close to the same results without such a dusty mess from a wool pad then count me in!!

Re: Buff and Shine Giveaway for July

Just a teaser mini review, before we head down to Florida.

    Some observations on these pads.

Their material is unbelievably plush, thick, and dense. They are very sturdy, very well made, very precise in fit and finish.

I used the 6" finishing pad on a first gen PC 7424, with Meguiar's M205 on our rental car with a bunch of water spots, and light swirls.

I primed them in a similar fashion the how Todd Helme demonstrated how to prime Rupes mf pads. I only need speed 4.5 and had no problems with rotation. I only used enough pressure to keep the pad on the paint, just like I do with a Rupes.

These pads were kind of "rocky" at first, but once the polish was spread out, and I started polishing, these pads had a beautiful, floating feel, while having a good degree of "dig" - if that makes any sense. Easily cleaned out with a pad conditioning brush, which was beautiful, because part of why I tend to stick to foam is because I'm not set up with compressed air. These pads almost behave like a foam pad. I only needed to reload with two or three small drops of product depending on the size of the section I was working on... They left a crystal clear, glossy finish with the M205.

I have to admit to being completely blown away by their perfoance, and deeply saddened that I don't have more of these. Seriouly, I've used Rupes, Meguiar's, and Lake Country microfiber pads. While I really enjoyed using them all, these were the most distinctive, with their own unique user experience.

Buff and Shine foam pads are the staple of my rig, and have been for three years now. These microfiber pads will soon be added to the arsenal.

I will order more when we get back, and do a really swirled out car with that first gen PC 7424, as well as a review with some of the pics I took today.

Thank you to Buff n Shine!! I've got a pretty hammered Black F-250 Super Crew and a black Accord to test these on. Nice to get back from vacation and find out this kind of news. Hopefully I'll be able to do at least one of these vehicles before our last vacation of the summer.

Re: Buff and Shine Giveaway for July

The Pad Man kindly sent me the orange cutting and black finishing MF pads when I was selected for the Uro-Tec giveaway.

I have a black Nissan Titan coming in August 6th for paint correction. I will give them a run and write up a review.
