IMHO: If you are leaving a product on to cure that says to WOWO you are essentially taking longer for it to cure to the paint. The products need oxygen to cure; hence why they are liquid/pliable when in their containers. When you leave a wax on to cure instead of WOWO you are allowing the outermost layer to cure before the product that is actually most in contact with the paint. Then you wipe off the product that has had some time to cure, and now the product that is still attached to the paint surface(not itself) is starting to cure from oxygen exposure. No, a product that needs hours to cure is not going to feel its slickest as soon as you wipe it off the paint. It has to cure and harden to get that slick property. Hope that makes sense. It just does to me. And yeah, your going to be lengthening the curing time and lessening the efficiency of the product if you applying any moisture to it right after it is applied. However, they do say that spritzing the surface after applying carnauba wax helps it cure to the paint. But, I think it still needs to set for at least a couple hours before doing so. If you are using anything with sealants/polymers in it you need to give it the whole curing time(8-12-24 hours) before topping/layering. Just my experience and knowledge.

The difference you are feeling is the polymers bonding to the surface of your paint. It takes most sealants 12 hours to fully bond to the paint after being buffed off! Most sealants feel slicker after the 12 hour curing time in my opinion! This bonding time is why they tell you not to get the vehicle wet or layer on top of the sealant till the product is fully cured!

Many overlook this waiting or curing time but it is an important step for products to bond and cure thoroughly before recoating...

Actually, the price PER APPLICATION isn't too bad, only the up front cost.

Apply Fuzion as thin as you can (but still get complete coverage). Once you have that down pat, you should get more than 30 applications from a regular size jar - that's less than $3 an application.
