Sorry guys, for some reason I'm just now seeing all the responses.
I'll take some pics asap.
As far as claying, the surface is very smooth.
Even while playing it didn't grab or leave residue on the clay.
I'm betting on CCF, but will know soon enough.
As far as polishing, I used a variable speed PC 2424.
I started out slow and worked my way to in speed
I also followed all the steps I've learned here.
Started by washing /claying, then Wolfgang Compound all the way to wax.
I'm using all of their products.
I haven't used the sealant yet because obviously I need to wait until it's right to move on to that step.
I've decided to go ahead and just have the hood painted in a couple weeks. Gonna start with that and see how it goes.
Obviously the car is 10yrs old, so it needs paint anyway...

where did u get the tip about adding a drop to your finishing polish? sounds good except that polish needs to be worked in with multiple passes and showcar glaze is supposed to be taken off wet after one pass not allowed to dry. sounds like the two products arent compatible?

found that on detailingworld forum..someone also had same issue as i did..it was mentioned in the thread that adding drop of glaze might help..so i tried it and it worked for me..but now i use ultimate polish and m205 which never gave me any issue..

oh nice, i did half and half with pinnacle paint cleansing lotion and show car glaze once. it came out pretty good. i might do it again but just use a drop of show car glaze instead of half and half? what do u think?
