    Diminishing Polishes and Non-Diminishing polishes

Alright, I've been a forum member for about 5 months or so and I've seen several posting by the forum members and Mike about how some polishes/compounds are diminishing and some are not. My question about this is how to do tell before working with a polish? From what I've noticed is that it doesn't state that on any of the polish bottles (or maybe I'm missing it). I know you can tell once you start working the polish, but didn't know if you could tell prior to using it on a surface.

I'm not sure that I could tell once I've started working the polish either.

Don't some of those comparison charts on the AG store indicate whether they are diminishing or non-diminishing abrasives?

Most polishes and compounds use diminishing abrasives. Meg's 105 use non-diminishing abrasives (SMAT).

Menzerna and Wolfgang = Diminishing Abrasives
Megs 105 and 205 = Non Diminishing Abrasives
