As a matter of fact, we just shipped it off to Troy Trepanier (Rad Rides by Troy) to have an Art Morrison chassis stuck under it. Look for it on the Power Tour this year.

Too bad I can't be there to help/watch.

Cool. I've always like this sedan delivery. Good taste.

Just by coincidence,e the cousin to your 1959 Sedan Deliver will be here Thursday night for a little help...

1960 Chevy Stationwagon. I think this is the Parkwood but it might be the Kingswood.

It's nice to work on the same types of cars that Troy Trepanier works on here at Autogeek's Show Car Garage. I'd say we're in good company.

I've seen that 60 wagon before - I think on a Power Tour a few years back. The 59 and 60 are virtually identical, except for the stainless trim with argent down the side.

Troy is a great guy and does unbelievable work. His newest creation (1935 Chevy Phaeton) just won the America's Most Beautiful Roadster at the Grand National Roadster Show.

    Mike, I'll be there. Den.

PS: Did I see a message where Nick was going to work or were my eyes deceiving me?

Craig, the current owner just purchased it off eBay, (I think that's what Craig said?).

Craig is neighbors with Tommy. Tommy recommended coming to Autogeek to learn how to remove the swirls and get this new-to-him 1960 Chevy Stationwagon looking like his, (Tommy's), old Plymouth.

    Here's Tommy's old Plymouth....

I've worked on one of Troy's cars, it's called Sniper. When I got to it someone else had hacked it all up via the misuse of a rotary buffer.

Sniper by Troy Trepanier - Removing Swirls for a show car finish

    Sniper

Designed by Chip Foose and built by Troy Trepanier

I took this picture right after de-swirling Sniper, at the time that was the current owner sitting in the driver's seat.

Sniper is now in the Petersen Museum.

This is another car I've buffed out that's on display at the Petersen Museum, one of my favorite cars of all time...

Sniper is a great car. 1954 Plymouth Savoy with a Viper drivetrain. We visited Troy's shop several times while it was being built.

The owner is George Poteet. Great guy, and a true car guy's car guy. e lives in Mississippi not too far from Memphis. We stopped in at his place last year while passing through on the Hot Rod Power Tour. Story here:

An amazing transformation considering Sniper started out as a convertible... here's a stock 1954 Plymouth Savoy hardtop...
