Recommendations to freshen up engine hoses

Hey guys, I'd like to get your opinions on the best product and or techniques to freshen up the appearance of engine hoses.

My engine bay has always been rather clean. But over time, some of the hoses have accumulated what appears to be water spots. Especially those towards the back of the engine compartment.

So far, I've only tried water and mild soap to clean them. But when they dry, they still look the same.

I was thinking about trying silicone, but I'm afraid that it might become a dust collector.

I'd like to hear what you guys have found to work.

    Thanks.

Meguiars hyper dressing. I dilute it to the satin finish. Works good and helps the rubber.

Spray either Meguiars hyper dressing on them, or silk shine. Both work great but you can get a lot more out of hyper dressing

Hello I am not very good with computers but you can see the pictures of the Silk Shine in the Show and Shine area.I posted on 4-27-15 with the help of my stepson.I just did a touch-up and can say 6 months was still nice.Just had the A service done at the dealer and the mechanic said he would like to know how to get his to look so new. They really respect your ride when they see it looks so clean.I could not find a single drop of fluid spill or grease smudge from hands.I have had great service at Mercedes of Pembroke Pines thanks to what I have learned on this forum.
P.S. on a funny note first time I saw your screen name I read oatmeal in my wallet. It was late at night and I was hungry and tired.

    Megs hyper dressing satin mixture.

It works perfect for the rubber intake boot and radiator hoses.
