Removing meguiars brake dust barrier
I recently tried the meguiars brake dust barrier it worked alright. The only thing that bothered me was when i applied it after it dried it kind of left my rim (20" chrome) looking a lil hazy but wasn't bad from a distance. Well today i was gonna clean my truck and the rims looked bad where it was starting to come off so i decided to take it off. That stuff wont come off easy i tried mothers wheel polish it worked decent then i tried some rubbing alcohol about the same but not effective really. The best thing to use if anyone has this problem is turtle wax label and sticker remover in a spray can. It made the job easy just time consuming. Figured i would share this because sometimes things can get frustrating so hopefully someone can find this helpful.

Re: Removing meguiars brake dust barrier
I had this on my wheels and it's pretty durable. I had it on black clear coated wheels and it left the orange peel look. That's the only thing I didn't like about it. The last time I polished out the wheels, I had to use some ultimate compound and a cutting pad to get it off. I used my PC7424XP since the wheels were spoked and flat.

Re: Removing meguiars brake dust barrier
To remove the product use a microfiber that is wet with the product. The carrier agent will break down the dust barrier and wipe clean.

Re: Removing meguiars brake dust barrier
I have used alcohol to remove it. That's the method that's listed on the container.
