A interior system I've been working on

I've been tweaking how I detail neglected fabric seats, each time with better and quicker results.

    At this point:

I use a Chemical Guys combo. I start with saturating the seats with Chemical Guys APC recommended ratio. Take a scrub brush a minute later or Brush attachment on Porter Cable. Use a Fabric rinse product liberally sprayed. Then shop vac.

Then I will spray Chemical Guys Fabric Clean over liberally, scrub, spritz distilled water, shop vac. As it's drying come over it with a no rinse product Folex/Ultima Shampoo and spot scrub.

I also try to get the driver seat out of the way 1st before the others.

I have yet to but I have purchased some big microfiber drying towels I am dedicated for interior to add as a last step and give me the option of spraying seats 303 FABRIC GUARD sooner.

Feel free to voice your opinions or questions about this method of dealing with seats.

In my opinion, if that works for you,and you are happy with the results...that's what matters. If it were me, I would use a pre-treatment and then hot water extractor. Done.

+1. I don't detail for money, but if I did, I'd use a machine. Time is money.

I use a real similar method. Specially the "no-rinse" step at the end! Works great.

Even though I don't see myself investing in an extractor in the very near future, I do recognize that as a popular and valuable resource amongst detailers.

I do appreciate the input. And I may think more about that in the more distant future especially if I get a little more into professional detailing.

Trust me when I say an extractor will pay for itself. It is soooo much faster. Doesn't Evan have to be a hot water extractor. Just add hot water to a non heated unit. Plus suction and psi are much more important.
