headlight sanding.. hand or machine?
i'm trying to improve my headlight restoration process and would like some input.
on headlights that need heavy correction (requiring 1000 grit or less) what is the better sanding method for removing the defects? i've uses hand, drill and DA sanding, each have their ups and downs, but none have stood out to me as the BEST. what method do you use and why?

Did my first restoration today. Used a Gg6, lc purple foam wool pad & dupli color hlr100 (headlight kit). Didn't take long. About 10min per headlight. I am very happy with the results. Hlr100 is a 2 step process. Polish & clear uv protector
