Best option for sun faded seat belt latches? These are bad

    Older Mustang

Parked outside in the California Sun

What is a quick option on something like this?

Would prefer not to remove the bench portion of the seat if possible

I hit it with Meguiar's Natural Look, but there was little improvement

If you were going all out on a Restoration, what would be the "Best" way to preserve something like this?

Chime in if you have addressed plastics like this

Maybe Wipe New? People who use it seem to have a good experience.

Does Wipe New take it back to a black color?

Back to whatever color it was when new. There are a few reviews of it on here, but I have not used it personally.

Were these seatbelt receivers' buttons originally black?

I believe the buttons were originally red, but this vehicle was purchased in Los Angeles, so there may have been a pink option available

The seats cleaned up pretty nicely, so the buckles stick out even more

DLux would be the best. Solution Finish second best. A dressing (303): 3rd Best.
Good for you for spotting that detail.

I now have a better understanding of why
you asked that Wipe New question.
