Thumbs down Optimum No Rince with Wax

The label on the bottle of Optimum No Rinse with Wax says among other things that it can be used on glass. Granted it doesn't say specifically that you can use it on the outside of your windshield BUT I would advise against it. You would think any fool would not...However I did. The windshield came out clean but the problem was using the wipers the first time it rained! It streaked so bad I could hardly see and my wipers are only two months old. I got home and it took alcohol to get the wax residue off the windshield. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

What was your dilution ratio? I've never had this problem and use ONR wax on whole cars all the time and never had this problem

I've never had this problem before. Is it possible that your windshield had a previously built up coating of a different product?

I've never experienced this issue either. I use ONRWW on non-coated and Opti-Glass coated windshields without issue.

Only think I can think off was high concentration. I try to avoid any thing with carnuba in it for the windshield I have had streaks before from carnuba waxes on windshield. I Never have problems with synthetic polymers.

Re: Optimum No Rince with Wax

First time inused ONRWW on my windshield, the rain flew off the glass at around 50mph. Like rainx but weaker.

The only thing i can think of was that the "wax" portion was not buffed off completely. I know, i made that mistake already
