DIY $2 4" Pad drying rack
Go to Deals, if they have one by you, or some other dollar store type place if they don't. In office supplies you'll find a metal file rack, painted black, with 6 slots. At my store it was only $2. Don't buy the thing at office max/depot, it's like 5 or 6 bucks there.
Unfortunately, the smaller pads tend to be thicker, so you won't be holding 6. Break off every other bar so that there are 3 slots. The thing costs 2 dollars, so this should be rather easy. I broke the first one off by accident before I even got to the cash register.
You may want to file down any sharp metal/paint left behind. After I filed down the break points, I coated the rack in plasti-dip. It's not necessary, but it makes it nice and grippy so the pads won't slip through if they're wet. They probably won't anyway, but this thing is just barely under 4" wide. Plus, plasti-dip is fun.
Now you have a drying rack for your 4" pads.
And yeah, that's Voyager in the background. What? It's a good show! Well I like it... Of course DS9 is better! I'm not arguing that. Jeez, freakin' nerds.

I need a little more room than for 3-4 pads . a 2 step and I at least use 10 pads . I use a wire shoe rack/shelf . similar to this .
and I don't care how long it takes to dry . after a full detail I'm ready for a break
