Screw Iphone and it's ridiculous auto correct.
I meant to say "I mentioned a glass bead and a brass hose barb. You'll be fine. Plus, lots of spray bottles have a tiny BB inside to control the spray flow.

Not a bad idea, I think lead is non-reactive with most chemicals... any chemists here who can give us a little insight?

Re: Improving all your spray bottles
I modified a few bottles so far and it works well. In a few of them I removed the plastic straw completelly and plugged the tube directly in. In some none of the tubes I purchased would fit exactly the hole so I did the mod like described in the video.

Re: Improving all your spray bottles
Just plastic tubing I purchased at Home Depot. I got 3 sizes of it so that I could fit any bottle. Fitting the stainless steel nuts it the most complicated aspect. Pretty hard to find nuts that will fit the tubing perfectly.
So what I did is I found nuts that fitted the largest tube I had, and I use electric tape to make it fit on the smaller tubes.
In terms of efficiency, the smaller tubes are better. The large one is pretty stiff and it needs a little help to move around in the bottle even with the weights on it. The small one moves easilly when the weights are attached.
