    Removing 25+ yr old graphic/decals/pinstripes

Any one have any tips on removing 25 yr old OEM graphic/ decals/ pinstripes? These are sun baked, brittle, and showing there age. After removal, compounding, and polishing would the areas still show ghost stripes? Or should I just leave them and deal with there condition? I am apprehensive to remove these

May have to use a plastic razor with the above info since they are brittle. Not gonna peel off like tape.

    Ghost stripes? Yes.

If they are real brittle the best way to do it is to use a pin stripe removal tool such as this one NAPA AUTO PARTS
it requires an air compressor & costs a bit but will take off 90%+ of the sticker and glue residue. I've used this tool safely on over 100 vehicles mostly used tow trucks safely & many times faster than a heat gun & thinner or goo gone.
    Hope this helps.
