I'm not impressed with gold class in terms of slickness or suds. I like duragloss and meguiars shampoo plus.

Do you realize that Meg's shampoo plus is just the detailer pro version of Gold class?

i prefer the DG soap and megs HW instead of gold class. for an otc wash, it's worked well IME and being able to find it locally is a plus. haven't used it in a while since i have plenty of other washes to use that suit my needs better...

I have a very hard time believing that. I have both and IMO they are NOT the same.

I've found Adam's & Optimum car soap to be a few of the best soaps i've used. Both are very similar in that has high lubricity, suds, fantastic in a foam gun/cannon, rinses clean & easily.

You just need to run water through it when you finish. I have a cam spray sprayer and the bottle threads are standard so you can remove the provided sprayer and install a bottle with just water and even add a small amount of APC to clean it out.

I think Meg's NXT Tech Wash > Gold Class. I'm not sure why they discontinued the former in favor of the latter, but I guess for whatever reasons maybe GC sold better.

For the price my three favs are...
Mothers California Gold Carnauba Wash & Wax
    Megs Gold
    DG 901

I also really like Wolfgang and Pinnacle when on BOGO or the 40% off sale they just had.

For Rinse less I use ONR

For Water less I picked up some Pinnacle and DP at 40% off - have not tried them yet. But I'm a sucker for a sale

    Re: Soaps

I used GoldClass soap for along time but it just didn't produce enough suds, by the time I was done washing I had zero suds and I'd add more per the directions.
I felt the lube was OK but I must see suds because I feel I'm not doing a proper wash.

That all changed since finding Maxi-Suds
