$4.99 well spent in an effort to paint-safe (v.) your Werner Platform ladder

    Two 1" x 6' foam tubular pipe insulation = $2.18
    One bag wire-ties = $2.52
    Tax -$.29

Make sure not to wire-tie at the latch

    Happy detailing...

    Great idea VT!!

    NOTE:
I already have plenty of black wire-ties...
But it'll still cost me $4.67 (including tax) for enough foam tubing to:
Paint-safe...the two Werner platforms I currently own.

Hopefully...Well within my: "The Good Wife's"...Budget-allowance...
In order to copy your innovation.

Hello FUN, learned from my mistake of trying to "walk" a rolling ladder while buffing out a Holiday Rambler several years ago. My rolling cart is next...a project that I put off for too long.

    You're welcome hand.

I detail in S.E. DC sometimes.
Darn good people - mostly referral, but I do not object to picking up unknowns if they sign on for maintenance.
The thing with detailing in the hood is that you got to be on your toes in more ways than one...a scratch may cost you dearly, and I don't mean $$$
