Thanks for the suggestion VT. I bought a couple bags of that pipe insulation and couldn't really use it to insulate the pipes at my shop. Now all I need to do is get a scaffold of sorts and I'll already have the scratch prevention foam. I'm getting quite tired of working off of a ladder so before long I'll be taking advantage of your idea.

    Cool TD

I was just watching the national weather and was wondering whether you escaped the NY snow.
Like I mentioned earlier, I learned from previous mistakes. When I had my rolling ladder, I bought tubes by the case as I was always standing on the cross rails and support brackets - not just the platform and steps, trying to get 'er done. Work boots wreak havoc on foam tubes.
BTW- I ordered the 4" cyclo pads. Only 1 detail and 1 hdlt resto booked this week.

I left Watertown at around 11:45 AM yesterday and by the time got to Sandy Creek/Utica on 81 there were cars and SUVs spinning off of the freeway into the ditches because of a few little white out snow squalls (where's the face palm button?) I guess not everyone has had the pleasure (or displeasure) of driving for a living. I just kept a safe distance, aimed the old eyes high, stayed off the brakes and all was good.

    Thanks for the thoughts Buddy!!!
