No update yet.
I will try to get some hand-applied CeriGlass going this afternoon to see if it cuts through the coating.

Small update. I used a little CeriGlass by hand on the car with less window spotting. It seemed to clear it up most of the way but there were still some faint spots.
I still intend to get in there with a new razor blade and see if it's just sitting there waiting for me to peel it off.

Tough Stuff. I would have thought it would have easily come off with some of the chemicals you used. Learn something everyday !!

Perl is pretty hard to remove as I found out as well. I was wearing glasses while applying Perl at 1:1 for my tires and while spraying it onto my applicator, a gust of wind swept by and I got overspray onto my face and glasses. Went to go wipe my glasses later with an alcohol wipe and its still there.

RAZOR BLADE!
I wish I tried it earlier. I put a fresh blade in my Snap-On scraper handle and had to hit the contaminated glass spots with a few passes at a pretty steep angle to bite into the stains. There was a slight residue left from the film (wiped away easily) but the blotches were gone.
I'm hoping the razor doesn't add any significant marring or scratches, but even if it does, it's better than very visible hazy splotches.
PERL will never get sprayed on anything but an applicator from now on!
Matt
