Those Pinnacle soft yellow pads work great for hand applications and either a blue or red foam pad on my Porter Cable 7424 or Flex 3401....

Re: What applicator do you use for Wax?

I love Meguiar's products. However, I do not like their yellow foam pad. I have found Groit's 3" DA Buffer with the red wax pad and Meguiars Gold Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Liquid Wax. The 3" buffer is nice and light, I can work it around tight areas (door handles, roof columns) and works the wax in much better than I could by hand.
