i have started using the tuff shine brush to scrub the dressing into the tires and it works great. i have so much product i probably wont ever run out.

Ah, so it just depends on the person applying rather than the brush, makes sense. On my budget I use as little as I can get by with. Just one coat of a permanent ( a few months) tire clearcoat is enough for my liking.

I too prefer Meguiar's Hot Shine and Endurance gels. The durability and shine is outstanding and you can control how much shine you get.
