Question super glue is stuck on paint?

So I had a customer tell me his brother super glued his mirror on the exterior of his car but spilled a bunch of it on his paint. It a white 2008 Toyota singly stage paint. It's been on there for months. I tried my solventx but it didn't rich it. Any ideas how to get it off?

Acetone is the only solvent that I'm aware of that will dissolve superglue. Acetone is a hot solvent and "can" damage paint but if it's old or factory applied you should be fine...

Well its factory applied, but they doesn't sounds like a solid thing. I feel the same way about using acetone. Seems spooky lol.

If you go to a hobby shop the have some stuff called a bond breaker that un glues things glued by superglue. You might check and see if that will remove it from paint.

I wonder if freezing it with an upside down can of compressed air would make it brittle and easy to remove? Or maybe a heat gun may help if the glue remover doesn't work.
