Garry this is funny cause I used them for the first time this weekend......long story but I have the GG6 and the pc.
I used the groits for the 5"pads and the pc for 3" pads.......
Groits.....4-4 1/2 and it worked very well i might say.....
My pc with 3" pads I had to run at 5 crazy....not sure why!
theres a long story on my take of these mf pads and I hope to get them out there soon......Mrs07 was in charge of the camera and she dosn't take direction very well.
Nothing wrong with the batch, the mf pads don't work well under heavy pressure or it is they have been cleaned but not properly dried before use on a da. Lighten up the pressure and make sure they are totally dry.
I've used mine on full blast on pcxp and gg with no problems.
Used them on numerous vehicles and about 10 vettes on speed 6 on my pc and no problems. I do like how whenever someone complains about a product it is always the products fault, never the user of the product. It is easier to point blame towards someone or something else than admit fault. One thing you need to do with these pads is to keep them very clean or you will ruin them.
Use the pads on speed 5 and even 6 on the PCXP. I still have 3 month old pads that are still kicking. Not sure if it is because I am running a rotary adapter to run a rotary backing plate. I have noticed a bit less of heat transfer this way, but still experimenting.
What do you mean by Ruined? Do you mean their flat now?
My sentiments precisely. What products used? Tearing usually operator error. Separation usually heat transfer issue. I too am waiting on the optimum pads since I will be using the optimum products in concert. The perceived flatness issue is what initially kept me from the mf cut pads . Heat is a mortal enemy of mf imo. Happy trails...
