2 years of driving on these wheels, has shown that they are bruised and beaten. Deep gash on one of the wheels while all three have some sort of road or curb rash. Both the wife and I can't get over the handling aspect of what I've done to the suspension upgrades. So we're taking curves a bit tighter these days and the wheels end up paying the price. So since the wheels have rough edges.. these swiffers no longer work. The grey brush above is still used, but we've found that a combo of wheel and tire cleaner with simple green makes short work of dirty wheels. But the wheels are past a point where they actually look good.. We've contacted a wheel restore shop and they said it would cost 150.00 ea wheel for a repair and recolor. I actually want these wheel chrome, but several shops who do chrome plating have refused to do these wheels in chrome. There's one small issues with having the wheels repaired and recolored.. this is the only set of wheels we have and buy something new and cheap just for a temp drive is out of the question.
