DIY Pad Washer
This is more of an "end of a project bulk wash" than a mid-compounding trick, but it worked really well for me so I decided I'd share. I don't have an actual pad washer yet, and I was unimpressed with how clean the pads were getting by simply running warm water over them and working soap in by hand. I was equally unimpressed by the test-results running a cheap applicator pad through the washing machine with my throwaway microfibers. This worked really well and was quite easy to do.
