I've seen Tornadors used to clean wheels, but can't find any details on products used. What product would be good to clean factory wheels in the Tornador? I've read mix results on using Meguiars APC or Super degreaser on wheels.
I have a Tornador but do not use it for wheels. If you were going to use APC, Pinnacle All Purpose Cleaner or McKees High Density are two very good APC's. Just follow the directions for dilutions ratios. McKees has a great price if you buy two 1 Gal containers.
I use Griot's Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner. Spray, let dwell and watch it do it's magic. Agitate with Wheel Woolies along with a dedicated bucket for wheels filled with your choice of water/car-shampoo mix.
Saves time not having to setup a Tornador and changing out canisters with different APC dilution ratios.
BTW, I see this is post #1 for you. Welcome to Autogeek Online!

Depending how dirty I use a combo meguiars wax and wash combo soap, Griots regular strength or heavy duty. Separate bucket and wheel woolies. Dry with a spray on wax for a little extra protection. I was messing around with the Tornador the other day and may just use water to rinse and agitate after spraying on the wheel cleaner. Save a little elbow grease.
I put the Opti-Clean mixed 3:1 on the wheel and tire first. Let it dwell minute or so then blast it with the Tornador. I put just water in the Tornador. Any not clean enough spots get agitated with lugnut brush and sprayed wiith Tornador. Only have a small compresssor so takes awhile but zero effort.
