Amen.
Sometimes we forget that we are building our cars to please ourselves, not others.
The fact that you get so much pleasure from your Abarth should be your reward. End of sermon.

I appreciate the input and you two are right without a doubt, damn Florida voters, LOL!
All kidding aside, not sure where the voters were from but anytime there's a voting issue I just automatically blame the dangling wang

I agree with the others.. these 'Car of the Month' contests usually lean heavily towards 'ricer' type mods.
Now, if you had done a ridiculous camber adjustment on all your wheels and gone for 'stance', you probably would have walked away with all 20 votes.. but then you'd have a goofy looking car with iffy suspension.

Just to clarify, I got beat by a 101 hp Fiat 500 sport with suspension mods that gets or was tracked, hmmmm, maybe some Dragon photos should've been added

We know you out-classed that car.

Yeah.. I know. I was trying to be... diplomatic. In all honesty, I think those kind of mods are just idiotic, but there are those who like them, and I'm sure some of them visit AG.

One thing I don't get at all is buying a performance car doing performance mods (focus rs, sti etc) and then slamming it with ridiculous camber. What's really the point then?

Oh yeah I agree with all of this. Ted, the guy who owns the GT350 I polished in the spring, were talking about people with cars like that who bag them, why? If you going to do that, just buy a base GT at the very least, NOT something like he has, just plain stupid. As far as the car that beat me in that contest, its slammed sure enough and has wheel spacers but it doesn't appear to be "stanced". I'm 47 and like all types of cars, basically I know a little about everything but I can't hear about "stance", makes no sense and is very dangerous, especially when you put a 205 series tire on a 10" wheel, looks dumb and doesn't hold air, yeah that's....
