    Need help fast!

    I'm at a customers house, there new Tahoe has scratches on the chrome backing on the backside of the mirrors and on the grill.. I have tried budding them with 105 and it's not taking the scratches out.. Any help????!!

    105 is for paint. Don't know how deep the scratches are that you are referring to.

    Chrome is a very thin protective coating and I personally would not attempt to remove noticeable scratches from it.

    . Your going to keep instilling more scratches into it. You can try a light polish like m205 or Optimum metal polish but beyond that your not going to really get them out.

    I wouldnt use 105 on chrome since 105 is a SMAT product; Super micro abrasive technology. The little particles within 105 dont break down and Im sure they probably would cause more scratching in thin metals like chrome. If you do want to try some sort of polish I would just stick to the DAT type polishes which diminish away the longer you work with them.

    Thanks guys, I tried everything I had and they would not come out.. Looks like they tried to scrub the bugs off with a Brillo pad! Lol I didn't think anything was going to get them out. The 105 was my last resort, using it gently by hand with a microfiber.. Oh well I tried!
