Re: Help salvaging my beloved Cobra Plush MF Towels...
Well, you can try vacuuming the towels, you can try using a pet hair brush like this
but I don't know if that will work or not, or you can just pray for patience and try picking all the pieces out by hand. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you luck!

Toss them out or use them under the hood if they dont lint.

I wouldn't risk it.

In all truth, that probably is your best bet. Might not be a good idea to use them on the paint. Although if you did manage to get the sponge lint out (perhaps using some of my aforementioned methods), you could relegate them to interior duty or dirty work, that way they don't go to waste. Not negating what I said earlier, just that I'd find another use for them as opposed to throwing them out.

I had a similar problem. As the OP suggested, try a pet hair brush. I used a one-way, velcro-like lint brush to get the worst out and loosen the rest. Then I sat in front of the tube watching football with a pile of MF at my feet and picked it out by hand and tweezers. There ain't no easy way....
Have fun... TL

Wash them on high heat with two large size cotton beach towels that have been washed previously - That should return the microfiber to like new condition. Tumble Dry on medium to low heat.

I had a very similar issue happen. I ended up using it for household use.
