Clear Cut vs SHC300 vs M101 vs S2 vs Mothers HD
I’m always in the market for the most powerful, fastest correcting machine polishers, pads and compounds and couldn’t wait to put Clear Cut up against my favourite extreme cutting compounds as the bulk of my work is on hard German paints with deeper defects.
I used a variety of cutting pads on a variety of paints with a variety of polishing machines and the same results kept being spat out.....Clear Cut was the clear winner time and time again. It not only cut the most but finished the best too with no dusting. It cleared up 1200 grit sanding marks like a breeze.
No matter what technique I employed it just kept beating all my other favourite compounds.
This was just a heads up for those interested or wanting to know and I gotta say CarPro shifted the goalposts!

Sounds amazing! Is thick and greasy? I just wonder how well it works via microfiber?

Not at all more like creamy with a gritty feel and without a scent. I’ve used it with foam and wool, mf I will try this weekend. I tried their way of light pressure lower speed first two passes but got same results using it like any other compound. It turns clear thereafter another pass or two and theres almost nothing to wipe off. I really like this compound, its head and shoulders above the competition.

Interesting.
The website also states this: “ In some cases and with the correct combinations this incredible next-gen compound may also be used as a 1 step product!”.
That would be even more interesting but they do not elaborate as to what the correct combinations are.
Have you used it on any Japanese brands yet?

I finished a white AMG one step with Clear Cut and Megs maroon DFC5 on a Rupes Mille. I have a new Range Rover Velar with soft paint I can try it on and will feedback. My clientele is higher end Premium cars so hardly get to work on Japanese or Korean.

Where the hell did you get a Mille? Lol
I get quite a few Lexus, Infiniti, and Acura, that’s why I ask.

Good to know using it like any other compound still yielded great results.

Yep, sorry gents - even all the way down here in little ol’ New Zealand I can have a RUPES Mille in my hands in under 24 hours if I so wish. I haven’t a clue why this is possible, because normally we lag behind by a while but yes, the Mille has been here for almost two months.
