    It's all in the prep!

As many here have often stated (correctly) it is all in the prep. As is my habit when a set of wheels (in this case Audi S4 summer "peelers") come from the car they go to my basement "spa" for treatment. In this case washed, Iron X, Auto Finese Obiltarate, clay, hand and machined polished with Sonax Perfect Finish, ISP wipe-down, coated with Optimum Gloss-Coat and dressed with Gyeon Tire Q2. I have coated many wheels with Opti-Coat, and the new Gloss-Coat is far easier to work with, slicker and shinier. The Gyeon tire dressing is amazing you use so little, how is the durability, no idea, (first go around) not sure I care it looks so good. In the photo below one wheel has been coated and dressed, one has not. Can you tell which? Yes given the trained eyes around here. My point is the prep gets you most of the way the LSP is just icing on the cake, the fun part if you will, after all, your hard prep work.
