Pre Wax Cleaner / IPA Wipe

Assuming your done with the polishing step and getting ready to add sealant as the last step, is there any advantage in using a pre-wax cleaner versus doing an IPA wipe down? Wouldn't either remove any polishing residue that could interfere with the bonding of the sealant?

What Sealant do you plan on applying?

There may be no manufacturer recommendation
that either is actually needed...after polishing the
    paint...and before their Sealant's application.

    IMO...
Paint being "squeaky-clean", before an LSP
application, is more in the realm of Coatings.

I like AutoFinnese Tough Prep. It leaves the paint squeaky clean with nothing left behind. For something equivalent, you could use DG Squeaky Clean.

to be removed via IPA/Panel Wipe, prior to BFWD's application.

I recently applied meguires nxt wax, I've read sealants don't bond well to synthetic waxes. Should I use a pretty wax cleaner to remove first?

    NXT is a synthetic wax.
A synthetic wax is another name for a Sealant.

•So the questions could now be:
-Will a Sealant, that is named: BFWD...
bond to another Sealant, that is named: NXT?
    -Or will it not?

For those that think it will not:
-Then the NXT needs to be removed by polishing.

Re: Pre Wax Cleaner / IPA Wipe

Using a prewax cleaner is working forward and offers a nice clean, slick, high gloss surface to apply the sealant. IPA is working backwards..its harsh, has no lubrication, and can even mar the paint.

However if you've used a finishing polish, hitting it again with a prewax cleaner is redundant. Why work twice? I'd go from polish to sealant within the same family
