More Polishes?!?
As spring is arriving I am going to strip the 845 off the daily driver soon and I will need to re-polish the paint as I see some swirls back in after the winter.
My question is do I compound again or just hit it with a polish?
I only have 205 currently and need to add a few more to the arsenal. Any suggestions on polishes would be appreciated.

Re: More Polishes?!?
You could try a cleaner/sealant that uses abrasives. Sometimes that is all you need. Since my cars are relatively new I am using XMT's line right now, and I do have WGTSR just in case.

What you're doing is called getting down to a fresh base.
Do a test spot using the M205 and inspect the results. If the results look good go to wax. If there are still swirls and scratches left behind then you can try using a more aggressive pad or get a more aggressive polish.
M205 is a fine cut polish, that is it' not very aggressive.

good call, totally forgot I have WGTSR as well. Isn't that classified as a compound though?

Re: More Polishes?!?
You could add 105 and then you'll have a good combo to tackle most anything. But, if you're just wanting to have selection, you might want to look into the Optimum polishes. I traded a few months ago for 8oz of Polish II, and I really liked it. It didn't dust at all and brought up a nice shine.
It all depends on what exactly you need to to.

@Mike - thanks for the info as usual. Bookmarked
I already have 105 but I feel this might be too aggressive. I will try Optimum Hyper Polish and see if it cleans up the light swirling I have now. Otherwise I will hunt more products down, been wanting to try Menzerna

Re: More Polishes?!?
If you want something finer then 205, get Menzerna SF4500 (85RD). It is one of the best finishing polishes that I have ever used. It's my go to polish before my LSP.

SF4500 added to my wish list, whats a bit more aggressive than that? I need to remove light swirling

SF4000 or 106FA (old name) same gloss as 85rd but with a bit more cut...
I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.
